Bird Watch CBS
February 8th.
Rooks are rarely seen alone
They nest in colonies called
Rookeries . They are beginning to
Build their nest in tall trees around
Now. They are black with a whitish
Face we have lots of them in
Our school yard. They are incorrectly called a crow. They are however
A member of the crow family. They eat bread, chips, apples, seed, slugs and almost anything they can find.
The nearest rookery to our school can be found on the Lahinch Road.
