Some Reviews: | |
"...the CD is a far cry from the conventional jigs and reels and the Riverdance phenomenon. It combines music and spirituality with a strong Celtic coloration and is compellingly gentle to the ears and the inner person." |
|
"The technique of harpist Mairéad Doherty is assured and always fluid, always musical. Her strong playing provides support and continuity for the varied offerings. ... Narration by Timothy Joyce has a quiet, intense quality that is less performance, and more the sense of listening in on a monk at prayer. ... The listener comes away feeling he has been privileged to experience some of the essence of Celtic Christian prayer and song." |
