Chicane Featuring Máire Brennan Release Soon in the U.K. and Ireland
Neil Fanning kindly provides us with the following information:
"Chicane featuring Maire Brennan's 'Saltwater' is released in the UK on Monday 24
May. (Ireland: Friday 21 May). The track has been promoed to UK DJs for the last
4 weeks, and has been #1 in the UK club charts for 3 weeks - it may however lose
its top spot at the end of this week. It features a Disco Citizens and a harder
Tomski vs Disco Citizens remix. It's been a long time since there was such a
highly anticipated club track, and this should be the first Chicane single to go
top 10. Maire's vocals have been re-recorded for the track, but she does not
feature in the extraordinary video, which was largely filmed in Gatecrasher,
Sheffield, and on some anonymous beach."
Thanks also go to Barry Jobson for providing additional information on this and the
accompaning video (via the Celtic Muse mailing list). He says that Chicane is Nick Bracegirdle. Barry
also provided a web site address for
more information on Chicane.
