![]() (Scan of 12 in. version of Chicane, "Saltwater") Barry Jobson reports on the Celtic Muse mailing list that the "Saltwater" release by Chicane (Nick Bracegirdle) featuring vocals by Máire Brennan has been released on 12", cassette, and CD in the U.K. Barry says the 12" has the 'Original Mix' and 'Tomski Vs Disco Citizens Remix', while the CD has 'Original Radio Edit', 'Original Mix' and 'Mothership Mix'. Barry says 'The Disco Citizens Mix' featured on the Irish release has not been released yet in the U.K. A scan of the promo postcard for the Chicane "Saltwater" single (along with credits to Máire Brennan of Clannad) can be seen in the discography section at Barry Jobson's Máire Brennan web site . The credits and notes on the back of the 12 in. of "Saltwater" read: "Taken from the forthcoming album. Written by Nick Bracegirdle, Ray 'Madman' Hedges and Clannad. Published by copyright control (Chicane), 19/BMG and Yorkshire Television. Prodiced by Chicane and Ray 'Madman' Hedges. [Tomski Vs. Disco Citizens Remix] Remix and Additional Production by Nick Bracegirdle and Tom Jankiewicz. Recorded at Modena One and Mothership Studios U.K. Under exclusive license from modena records ltd. Features an adaptation of the song 'Harry's Game' taken from the Clannad album 'Magical Ring' on the RCA Record Label." Note that copies of the 12 in. and CD versions are already appearing in the U.S. (as U.K. Imports) at major record outlets under the category Techno/Dance.
