New Alan Parsons Album Released with Máire Brennan Track


The Alan Parsons newsletter - The Avenue web site reports that the new Alan Parsons Album "The Time Machine" was released in Japan on the Horpio label as scheduled on July 16. As was reported earlier, "The Time Machine" album includes a track with vocals by Máire Brennan called "Call Of The Wild". The lyrics and other information on the track "Call Of The Wild" is available from The Alan Parsons newsletter - The Avenue web site which also says that the "The Time Machine" Alan Parsons album will be released in Europe on August 24th.


The Hot Press Irish Music Hall Of Fame


The Hot Press Irish Music Hall Of Fame (IMHF) has just launched their web site. The IMHF opened earlier this year in Dublin at 57 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1, and is filled with memorabilia and the latest interactive exhibitions on Irish Music. A good deal of the IMHF is focused on rock acts (notably U2 which dominates most of the exhibit) but touches on other areas of Irish music including traditional, folk, and even showbands. It was announced earlier this year that Clannad and Enya are represented at the IMHF. An old picture of Clannad is included on the IMHF web site which also includes a quick interactive tour of the IMHF facility in Dublin.
