Major Update to the Word Records Web Site Including the Official Máire Brennan Pages
The official Word Records web site has just
gone through a major update. Gone are alot of the Java and Shockwave enhanced pages which
are replaced with simpler HTML-based pages. The Word Records web site contains
the only official pages for Máire Brennan releases on that label. Some of the updates done to date
to the Máire Brennan section include some newer versions of Máire Brennan publicity photographs which have been added in the
"Photos" section. Other sections
such as music/videos, press, FAQ, and discography sections for Máire Brennan remain with
generally the same material as before. Two new exciting sections have been added to Máire Brennan's
pages. These are an "interactive" and a "tour" section. However, these sections remain
under construction. The "interactive" section holds the promise of a "chance to communicate with
your favorite artists and with other fans" and "express your thoughts, ask questions, and
meet new friends that share your musical tastes". We will wait and see what the "interactive"
section will look like in the next couple of weeks or months. However, more importantly, is what is
not included in the new revised Máire Brennan pages on the Word Records web site. No information
regarding a new Máire Brennan solo album this year. However, many parts of the web site are
still under construction.
