New Máire Brennan Solo Album Rumored Release Date


From a posting on the new Máire Brennan Word Records message board, we find that the new solo album by Máire Brennan, that was anticipated for a fall release, may be released in October with the title "Whisper To the Wild Water". Report is unconfirmed at this point.


New Celtic Compilation Album to Include Máire Brennan Track




Another new Celtic music compilation album titled "Celtic Woman 2" on the Excellent Music label will include a Máire Brennan track. From information gathered from the Excellent Music web site, the "Celtic Woman 2" album has already been released in Australia (distribted by MRA), and was released in Ireland and Europe this past June. An American release is expected this fall. No exact track listings were given, so we do not know what exact Máire Brennan song was included. Other artists appearing on the "Celtic Woman 2" album include Altan, Capercaillie, The Fallen Angels, Hazel O'Connor, Derbhile ní Bhrolcháin, Aine uí Cheallaigh, West of Eden, and Orla.
