Clarinbridge Oyster Festival
Through its annual Oyster Festival held on the second weekend in September, and its long tradion of harvesting the native Galway Bay Oysters from the shallow seas of the locality, Clarinbridge has gained world acclaim.
Two Internationally famous hostelries, Paddy Burkes Oyster Tavern in the village and uniquely located Moran's Oyster Cottage at the weir, cater exclusively to those who wish to partake of these succulent bivalves and other seafood delights.

Feile Brian Boru, Killaloe
A weekend of celebration of Brian Boru's reign as High King of Ireland. In mid July the town comes alive with music, song and pageantry. Fancy dress parades, fishing competitions and bar-b-ques are also part of the fun.

Feakle International Music Festival
In August offers a wide variety of workshops, festival sessions and open air concerts over this long weekend.

Mountshannon Arts Festival

Miko Russell Festival, Doolin

Shannon Dolphin Festival
Held in Kilrush in mid-July. The festival offers traditional music sessions, singing, performance arts, a parade and carnival.

Éigse Mrs. Crotty
A tradtional music weekend held in KIlrush in mid-August.

Cruinniú na mBád, Kinvara
The Cruinniú na mBád summer sea festival is organised by the village to recall the booming trade of the 19th century and sees the old 'Galway Hookers' compete in thrilling races and events.

Lisdoonvarna Match-Making Festival
September is traditionally high season in Lisdoonvarna, when fun and gaiety take on a new zest. Lisdoonvarna's reputation for match-making originated when farmers, after the harvest was gathered sought relaxation and, if needs be, wives.

The Pan Celtic Festival
