Aims & Objectives
STEPS (ISPCC) aims are to provide a drop-in Youth Advice and Counselling Service for
children and young people up to the age of 21. It is managed by trained volunteers who
will listen non-judgementally to our callers and empower children to find solutions to
their own problems.
Programmes
- STEPS drop-in information service.
- STEPS drop-in youth advice and counselling service.
- Summer Activity Club for children and young people aged 7-15, run by trained leaders.
- Babysitting programme - aimed at teenagers aged 16+ to facilitate their learning of
children's issues, children's needs, role of babysitter, etc.
- Saturday morning club - for any children who want to participate in free-play and
drawing sessions.
Volunteer Profile
Volunteers are selected and recruited on a regular basis. Free training course is
