AN EASTER THOUGHT - - - - -
Is our parish up and running, witnessing to a Risen Lord: Or is it a dead Christ that we are looking for? Can we see beyond the discarded dressings of ways which served in the past but no longer do so? It was the disciple who loved who saw and believed in the Risen Lord (Silvester 0Flynn: Homily for Easter Sunday).

TEMPORARY SANCTUARY
During the coming week it is proposed to lower the temporary sanctuary by one step.
This is in response to the most frequent suggestion made. It should be possible then after a couple of weeks to come to a final recommendation.
The Church Refurbishment Committee appreciated the number of written submissions that have been received from parishioners. Both from those in favour and those not in favour of the proposed changes. The Committee is still open to all constructive comments as to how the Sunday Eucharist is our Parish Church can be improved.
LENT IN OUR PARISH
Many people have commented on the large number of people who celebrated Mass on the weekdays of Lent. It was particularly moving to see so many parents accompanied with their children.
