ST. VINCENT DE PAUL HALL

The Hall Committee of the St. Vincent de Paul Hall is having a meeting to discuss the future use and development of the Hall.

We would like the Hall to be used by as many groups as possible who provide a service within the community.

The meeting will be held in the St. Vincent de Paul Hall at 8pm on Monday January 22. All are welcome.

Christian Brothers Oratory (Bective St) Mass on Mondays 5.30 recommences Monday next 15 Jan.

Kells Active Retirement Association re-commences weekly meetings on Wednesday 17th Jan in Edmund Rice Centre at 3pm.

Courses over 8 nights: Beginner’s Course commencing 29 Jan at 7.30pm, cost £45,

Intermediate Course commencing 31 Jan at 7.30pm, cost £50. Applications with £5 deposit to Parents Council c/o St. Colmcille’s Boys’ School.

Meals on Wheels collection on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 at all Masses.

The Meals on Wheels Committee distribute over 3000 meals per year to the elderly, the sick and the housebound. Your support is vital to this service and will be much appreciated.

Candlemas Offerings:

Next Sunday (Feb 4) is an Offering Day, one of 6 days in the year when the collection is used to cover the living expenses of the priests of the Parish. Kindly use the WHITE envelope or an ordinary envelope with name and address. Envelope distributors are reminded that they received the Candlemas Envelopes with the Christmass Envelopes.

Adoration of Blessed Sacrament: People are needed for the following times 11-12, 12-1,

1-2, and 3 –4pm. Come along at your convenience. Next meeting Monday 19 Feb at 8pm.
