DAY OF PRAYER AS ALL RELIGIONS UNITE

Pope John Paul has invited the leaders of World Religions – especially from the Moslem world – to join him in Assisi for a Day of Prayer for Peace on January 24. He wishes to remind the world that religion must never be a reason for hatred or violence. At this time humanity needs to see gestures of peace and hear words of hope.

The Pope has asked the church all over the world to join in this Day of Prayer.
