Joy

Joy is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness that lifts up the spirit. The birth of a baby can bring you the emotion of joy. Helping someone or accomplishing something can also give you the feeling of joy and feeling its sub emotions. Joy comes from the experiences which are delightful and memorable, when you feel that everything is right, when you feel happy, safe, satisfied, and comfortable.

A-This would depend on the source of the joyful moment, if it is joy at the expense of someone’s hardships then it would not be classed as positive joy.
Good Mind Cultivation of Joy is to let it flow from the same source as love and peace; it flows from your heart. Joy is your nature. When sadness comes, allow your tears to flow. When joy comes, allow your smile to shine. That’s how it is supposed to be. It’s your nature; it’s who you are. The deep joy flowing within you is a healing force. Its warmth has the power to melt the inner torment.
