Good Mind Cultivation is to see Surprise through the experiences of others.
Ask immediate family members or a close friend to recall times when they
experienced positive or negative Surprises and how they felt and coped with it.
Don’t try to explain your real intentions. Simply listen. Begin to understand the
emotional feelings they experienced. This will help in building a self-awareness for
future situations.
Life is dynamic, not static.
Wait for a few moments, before blurting out when confronting unexpected or
unpleasant turns of fate. Before getting angry or panicking, look at what happened
and assimilate the news. In many cases, this might be something of minor
importance that is easy to cope with. Maybe what happened is temporary, or
something that can be easily fixed.
Important; don't jump the gun.
Your Task is to : Except experiences as they happen, but use a cultivated mind.
