Diamond Day Sunday 18th June 2000.

Under the "Home School Partnership Programme", parents, teachers, and children have united together to celebrate 60 years of Creagh National School in its present location.

The theme of the diamond celebrations is "One moment in time-remembering the past, celebrating the present, looking to the future".

The following is a brief outline of the time table for the celebrations:

Saturday June 17th

Seisiún in Gullanes Hotel where past pupils, teachers, parents and friends reunite and set the wheels in motion.

Sunday June 18th Diamond Day

All are welcome to Creagh Church for a short thanksgiving service at 3p.m., and afterwards to the school for a ceremony to raise the green flag, bury our millennium time capsule and launch the school's web site.

Exhibitions, displays, entertainment and Gaelic Football Finals to follow with refreshments laid on for all.
