About Our School

Creagh National School is a mixed school situated in Ballinasloe Co. Galway. We are celebrating our 60th Anniversary on June 18th. A lot of changes have taken place since the school first opened in 1939. A large extension was built in 1984 to cater for the growing numbers. Today there are 338 pupils on rolls with a staff of 16 teachers, a secretary, a caretaker and 3 classroom assistants. Mr. Broderick is the principal of our school.
