The 800 acre park which was formerly part of the Rockingham Estate, home of the Stafford King Harmon family, includes a large area of woodland gardens, nature walks, and archaeological remains. Incorporated with first class services and amenities , it has drawn admirers from all walks of life and from all over the world.
Located at the harbour are a fleet of 18 foot Darragh fibreglass boats with 3 and 4 hp outboard engines ,available for hire at daily or hourly rates
For those who prefer a more exhilarating trip around the lake , A 10 seater Power Boat with
driver / guide is available in peak season.
The lake has an abundance of fish for the coarse fisherman including, Pike, Bream , Roach , Perch and Eel. During the fly season Fly fishermen can catch Brown Trout from 2 lb to 8 lb.
