Events
2005

Over the years the Leinster Re-enactment Society has organised or taken part in events in Ireland - North and South -, and in the UK. We have worked with county councils in Kildare, Wicklow, Galway and Dublin, and contributed to festivals and heritage events in Cork, Wexford, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Offaly, Laois, Carlow, Meath, Westmeath, Tyrone, Limerick and Sligo.

The Society has assisted in events as diverse as the Viking assault on Athy in 1996 to the National Country Fair in 2004; and acted for clients at events as varied as the Scurlogestown Olympiad in Trim and the Carlow Floral Festival, to the Pembroke Castle Trust and the CADW run Harlech Castle in Wales.

2005 Event List

28th and 29th May- Athy Water Festival, Athy, County Kildare.

5th and 6th June- National Country Fair, Emo Court, County Laois.

10th July- Kildare County Show, Athy, County Kildare.

16th and 17th July- East Anglia Mediaeval Fayre

6th and 7th August- Criccieth Mediaeval Festival, Gwynedd, North Wales

20th and 21st August– Holyhead, Wales.

4th to 11th September- Heritage Week, Ireland
