Panel saw jig

Dimensions: N/A
The jig consists of 4 uprights which work as a support for large sheets to cut down to a manageable size for the table saw.
These uprights can be stored in the rafters, out of the way.

The feet of each upright is adjustable allowing to line up all the uprights. This is necessary unless you have an absolutely flat floor and the roof rail is perfectly parallel to the floor.
Yeah, right, not in my workshop!

The sheet just stays on the jig without any clamping, however it is really necessary for safety and precision to clamp each side of the cut to the uprights.

The uprights have a double hook at the top just the size of the pole. Double hooks because it gives better stability in use. Each hook was made of 12mm plywood using a template insuring they are identical.

The idea for this jig came from reading Good Woodworking magazine No. 143.
