Formerly known as Carl Johnson Disco Promotions, Disco 2000 was set up in the year 2000. The person behind Disco 2000, DJ Carl Johnson, has over 30 years experience of playing at weddings, corporate functions and other events. All the DJs now working for Disco 2000 are personally vetted by Carl himself.

Disco 2000 is based in Cork city centre and covers the Munster region.

Disco 2000 are wedding specialists and have a huge music collection. Our charges are competitively priced with regard to other DJs and companies in the same market as ourselves.

We promise to ensure a professional service and approach to how we handle your wedding or function. Disco 2000 only use top quality professional DJ equipment, maintained by our own in-house engineers.

As planning is critical to the success of any event, we ensure a pro-active approach to your wedding or function and the need of all clients are catered for. When it comes to wedings, we can work from a playlist that the bride and groom have constructed, adding in some of our own selections, or you can leave the music up to us.

    we have two main packages - Full Night or After Band. We also offer a package of the DJ for the full day to provide a mic and sound equipment for speeches.
    Private Parties
    Music policy at private parties will always be discussed with all of our clients. The music we play at a 21st birthday party will vary from the music played at an 80th. Whether it is R'n'B, chart, dance or golden oldies that is your preference, you can rest assured that Disco 2000 will have something to please everyone.
