Distance Education International is a European distance education research and development institution. It has taken a leading role in Euroform, Socrates, Leonardo Da Vinci and European Social Fund projects.  Among the projects it has been involved in are:

  • 1991 Multi-media anti-cancer campaign in Calabria, Italy for La Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori with the co-operation of leading national figures: pop star Flavia Fortunato, multiple world and Olympic gold medallists Guiseppe and Carmine Abbagnale, TV presenter Lea Pericoli, oncologist Dr Gianfranco Filippelli and football star Gigi Marulla.
