Faerie Art
Remember when you were a child and you believed there was a faery hiding behind every leaf. Well if you're looking at this page now, would I be right in guessing that you still do?

The spirits of the natural world are making a gradual re-emergence into our world through the love and guidance of many talented artists and writers.

At last our Fay friends are being given the true recognition they deserve.

For too long we were led to believe in these sugary sweet little beings who are so far removed from their real personalities. Now we see them for the complex characters they actually are and respect them as such.

Amber

This is Amber, my beautiful niece. She loves faeries and was delighted with her portrait, which she received for her birthday. She had danced especially for it and had woven a wonderful enchantment around all present. More details of this portrait can be found on my Portrait Page.

Faery Bea

My wonderful daughter Branwyn is the inspiration behind these three studies. She was around sixteen months old at the time and makes a delightful little Fay. As she grows, so my collection of faery studies grows with her. To find out more about this collection, please visit my Portrait Page.

Amy

This charming little creature is Andrews daughter Amy. She has an exquisite beauty that can only be described as faery-like. I really enjoyed painting this portrait of her because until this one all my models have either been very young or a lot older. So capturing an eleven-year-olds likeness was a new challenge. More details of this portrait can be found on my Portrait Page

A Celtic Faerytale

This was a little design I came up with soon after our move from the town to the country. Andrew and I had been for a walk and had come across some early morning mushrooms. It was pure magic to find these on our ramble through the fields behind our new cottage, that I was sure our resident spirits had left them for us. So I drew them as I pictured them, in the middle of their fun and games.
