Water

Water is traditionally assigned to the West, the direction of sunset.

Some places most suited for Water Rituals, are water bodies and the edges of them, such as oceans, beaches, rivers, lakes… maybe at Midnight, dressed in a blue-green cloak on a cool autumn night when you can feel the full power of the moon, pulling the tides both in you and the ocean.

The Goddesses Isis, Diane and the God’s Manannan mac Lir and Neptune are amongst many associated to Water.

Water is purifying, healing, nurturing, dream like, loving and peaceful.
