Student Projects.
This page contains samples of the projects which students have designed and built. These include award winning entries into the Young Scientist Competition of recent years. Engineering students have won the Enterprise Ireland award, presented by IBEC (Irish Business Employers Confederation) as well as taking 1st & 2nd places in the Senior Technology section. Our students have also won the Patent Office individual award on two ocassions.
The engineering and technology students are innovative, resourceful and technically adept in producing excellent items of work. As a subject, engineering provides students with an outlet to their natural talents of creativity and inventiveness. Their educational experience is enhanced as a result. Many engineering students progress to degree and diploma programmes at university and college, of this, I am very proud. I wish all students, both past and present a bright and rewarding future.
