Clare Island (Ireland) 29th - 2nd April/May 2005

A small island off the west coast of Ireland. Clare island is a very quiet island with a pub, a few scattered B&B's and a dive center that has not yet officially opened. The diving was organised by Oceandivers and it was up to yourself to organise accommodation.
As I dropped in for our first dive I was pleasantly surprised by the clear water and vis. All the divers were in good moods after it :-) I had the Canon 300D and a perfect place to get some green water photographs in. I used the Sigma 15mm fisheye for the wide angle and a Sigma 105mm for macro shots. With vis beyond 10 meters, the 15mm is great to have around. I used the macro lens really for the first time on this trip. Its great but does need more concentration and adjusting. The focus light I found pretty much essential. OK hope you enjoy browsing these as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thanks for stopping by. Oh, and of course if you would like any of these prints just let me know.

El Hierro 11th - 18th March 2005

Once again I return to the lovely island of El Hierro in the Canary Islands. I was expecting great things this time round as I had my Canon 300D in all its glory, wide and macro lenses to go....Unfortunatly I was dogged the whole week with a dodgy sync cord. Sometimes the strobes would fire and most times not. Missed some great opportunities with a Grouper who followed us on a dive (although I had the macro lens on at the time so.) All in all a good weeks diving and always an enjoyable place to visit.

Bahamas 19th - 25th October 2004

Pictures taken here were from my Canon 300D (Rebel) Slr Digital camera. I used a 15mm Sigma fish-eye lens and also a loan of a 50mm Macro lens(thanks Jim). The housing is an Ikelite. This was the first time using this setup. I was pretty happy with most of the pictures. This trip was arranged with www.digideep.com and was on the M.V Shearwater.

Red Sea Janurary 2004

El Hierro November 2003

Trips arranged by fellow Irish man Shane Grey, visit www.shane-gray.com. Dive centre in El Hierro is El submarino. Probably the nicest relaxed place I have been to. Pictures taken here were from my Canon S50 Digital camera.

Red Sea July 2003

Ireland (On going...)

As this is where im from, the pics here will be updated and modified as the diving season goes on. Initially I just wanted to get some pictures up displaying. They are from my Canon S40 and S50 (dont ask me which ones:)Mainly taken around the Dublin area. I would like to note the ones from here on in that they were taken with the Canon 300D SLR. Hopefully the difference will be noticable in the quality ;-)
