Fr. Gerard Collins, a native of Dunmanway in West Cork, is Parish Prist of Passage West. His parish church, St. Marys, is over 200 years old and contains many treasured artifacts. It was the here allegedly that the first Catholic church bell was tolled in Ireland after the relaxation of the Penal Laws.

Fr. Collins is well known as a keen photographer and exhibited his work as a means of fundraising for the urgent and extensive renovations to the church.
