DSiriusDay

In appropriate nineteenth century costumes at the 'Sirius' celebrations at Passage West in 1988 were Mini Gill (Glenbrook), Betty Murphy (Bishopstown), Sybil Fuller (Monkstown) and Helen O'Connor (Glenbrook).

Passage West in County Cork was the port of departure of the 'Sirius' on the first ever trans-Atlantic steamship crossing.
