Doddervale Flower Club was founded in 1977 by Phyllis Sheehy. Sadly Phyllis (who was President for many years) is no longer with us, but her legacy lives on in the excellent standards obtained by many of her students, and in the pupils of her students who themselves became teachers. Doddervale now has a new President Liz Morris, Liz was one of Phyllis's original pupils and with Phyllis and others founded Doddervale. Doddervale meet on the second Friday of each month in Templeogue College for Floral Art demonstrations, workshops, talks on gardening and allied subjects. The aims of the club are Friendship through Flowers and to foster the love and care of plant material in all its forms.
