............Over 200 Leaders past and present attended the 75th Anniversary dinner on January 17th in the Stillorgan Park Hotel. A great night was had by all.

............Buion Francis Taylor Unit Malahide raised €900 Carol Singing for 3 evenings in early December. The money raised was for the local St Vincent de Paul.

............10 Brigins were enrolled into Buion an Leanbh Naofa, Swords on December 4th.
............Members of Buion Francis Taylor Malahide went Carol Singing for 3 nights on December 3rd, 4th and 5th to raise money for St Vincent de Paul.
...........The Brigins from Buion Fintan, Bayside and Cygnets and Brigins from Buion Colette, Baldoyle are going to see "The Elf" in UCI Coolock for their Christmas outing.
November 2003
............Commissioner Mary Lawlor was honoured by City of Dublin Youth Service Board on November 26th when she was awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntary Youth Work. Mary's Golden Jubilee was also marked at a presentation of flowers and gifts by Cygnets, Brigins and Guides of Buion Francis Taylor Malahide where Mary is a Guider. On November 25th at Diocesan Council Mary received her 50 years Service Award. Congratulations Mary!
............9 Cygnet Guides and 12 Brigin Guides were enrolled into Buion Francis Taylor, Malahide on November 30th
........... over €500 was raised for Fernhill at a raffle at Diocesan Council. Thanks to all who contributed
...........Assistant Brigin Guider C. Carey from Buion Naomh Brendan, Coolock received her Gold Gaisce The Presidents Award. Congratulations.

.........over 100 Cygnets and Brigins went to the Disco and Karaoke in HQ on the 1st of November. A great time was had by all.
........The winners of the Cygnet Guide Halloween Competition were S. Mc Grath - Buion Clothra Beaumont, D. McKeever - Buion Maria Reparatice and N. Sutton - Buion Colette, Baldoyle. Well done girls!

.......... Patrol Leaders from the Diocese are attending the National P/L Forum weekend in Wexford from October 31st - November 2nd.

.........1400 Cygnets, Brigins, Guides, Rangers and Leaders attended the National Fun Day in Larch Hill to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of CGI.
.........Martin King, TV3's Weatherman opened the Funday and mentioned us several times during the weather forecast and also on his radio programme on Today FM.
Summer 2003
........587 attended the 75th Anniversary camp 'GO CAMPING' in June. Were you there?
....... 46 Guides and leaders from Buion Brendan, Coolock and Buion Muire na nDolas, Seville Place went to Switzerland on camp.
........a team of Guides and 2 leaders attended the Roverway Camp in Portugal
........the Diocese supported 3 athletes at the Special Olympic World Games after the Guiders to be commissioned raised €3000
........Buion Canice Brigins won the National Brigin Quiz

.......Fernhill is 50 years old! Yes our favourite guide house was bought in 1953 and celebrates its Golden Jubilee this year. Funds are needed to keep the House and over €6000 has been raised so far, most through a Bag Pack in March.
