This year Pack Holiday will take place from Friday the 23rd May to Sunday the 25th May at the Northern Ireland Scout centre Crawfordsburn, Co.Down.
Pack Holiday is the highlight of the Cub year and NIS Crawfirdsburn provides the ideal opportunity for Cubs to develop their outdoor skills, their sense of camaraderie and their independence.
All Cubs are eligible to go on Pack Holiday but ideally they should have spent at least one night away with Cubs before. If you have any concerns about your son/daughter going on Pack Holiday, please ring one of the Leaders and talk it over.

The cost of a Pack Holiday this year will be 65.00 euro.

Their will be numerous activities on offer to the Cubs at the Centre including canoeing, orienteering, piopeering and an assault course to mention but a few.
If you son/daughter wishes to attend this exciting new adventure, we require a 20.00 euro deposit as we have to pay a deposit to secure our booking and to get an idea of the numbers attending in order to finalise the activities. The deposit is due by the week ending 18th April 2003. However, if it should occur for any reason that your child does not wish to attend then you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
Those of you who are to attend, we will be sending out a letter to you nearer the time of the Pack Holiday. This letter will contain a suggested kit list and two forms both of wich we require to be completed and return to us along with the remaining cost.

Sunday, 16 February.
The cubs (all three packs) are gooing on a hike to Bray Head.
Meeting at Confey Train Station in Leixlip at 10:15a.m.; returing by bus to Dunboyne at 6:00pm. (Church Car Park)
Cost is 5 euro per cub
Wear warm jacket, Cub sweatshirt,necker and hiking boots or old traners. Bring along a pacled lunch, raingear, hat and gloves in a baclpack.
Please let the leaders know if you are coming.
