I think in the year 2o2o we will all have laptops instead of schoolbags. Schoolbags are very heavy and now days we have to carry them to school every day.

monitored2.gif (11117 bytes)We will not need to buy book every year. Instead we will buy all our books on a zip disk in Scholars Bookstore or we will be able to buy them online over the net. To do this we will need a credit card number. Maybe all pupils will have their own accounts by then. There will be a law that all children have to get a certain amount of money every week to live on. They can use this money to buy whatever they need for school. If we do projects on animals or history we could charge other schools to download this information from the net.

We will all have our own computer in school instead of having to share one decent machine between a whole class. When we have lessons at home there will be a little golf ball camera and the teacher will see us all and we will have to sign our name at 9.10 am on-line.

In the year 2020 we will all have computers. I think that the bad think about the year 2020 is pupils will not be able to talk to any friends or play football or play basketball, unless they come to school to meet them. So all in all, we will always have schools and teachers and sometimes we will come to school and other times we will stay at home.

laptop4.gif (17437 bytes)Computers are not the most important thing in school. We will still have to learn spellings and sums but computers make learning more fun. I hope we have better machines in the future that do not crash just when you need them. This drives us mad in school. Everyday something goes wrong and our teacher has to spend time trying to fix them. Every school should have an expert fixer. We have learnt a lot about computers and how to fix them. "Sir" is not a technician but he has a go. We have Dan, he is a technician, who comes to our school. But this costs money and "Sir" says that it does'nt grow on trees. And he is right.
