  Independent Shannon Town Commissioner Peter Flanagan will be tabling a motion calling for the release of Josephine Hayden on humanitarian grounds at the April meeting of the commissioners. Peter wrote letters and lobbied for political status and transfer to Portlaoise from Limerick jail for the Continuity IRA POWs when they were denied political status in Limerick jail.
