Monks Pub is a 3 star Restaurant located in the village of Ballyvaughan, overlooking Galway Bay. Customers are welcomed by a blazing turf fire and friendly staff. There's one main bar and a smaller one at one side of the pub. Can seat 80 people comfortably but have often catered for over a hundred. Stock a wide selection of beers, spirits and wine.
Burren Riding Centre is beautifully located on an elevated site, on the edge of the 'Burren', overlooking Galway Bay, on the coast road between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna.

The centre offers; weeklong, 3-day and daily trail rides along the 'Green Roads' in the magnificent surroundings of the Burren area of north Clare.

The Burren Smokehouse was first established in 1989 by Birgitta and Peter Curtin. They researched the smoking traditions in Ireland and in Sweden and the idea of the Smokehouse was born. The Curtin family for about one hundred years owned the 'Roadside Tavern' nearby which was the first place where their own smoked salmon was served. Its quality became known very soon and pubs, hotels and restaurants in the Lisdoonvarna area started to order salmon from the Smokehouse.
