The lower branches
of a chestnut tree in Spring
a green candelabrum

2.

Spring invigorated
the walkers in the Phoenix Park
with both arms swinging

Adjusting a kite
someone in the distance stands
alone in a field

4.

Above the shadow
of the holm-oak grove   sunlight
gleams on the tree-tops

5.

The car doors closing
as people set off to walk
in the park in Spring

6.

The gurgle of a child
being strapped into a buggy
the Spring call of birds

7.

On your hands and face
the heat of the sun   once more
a winter has passed

8.

Barns in the distance
reflecting again the sun
up along the hills

9.

Low over the ground
a bumble-bee hovers   seeking
the flowers of Spring

10.

Silent company
the flowers around a monstrance
tell God's beauty too

11.

Chosen carnations
the white petals tipped with pink
open for The Host

12.

Beyond common sense
the mystery of bread   God
by His word sanctified
