Cherry

Cherry

It is a deciduous tree native to Europe, very frequent in Italian hilly regions. It can be found in the majority of the continent, as shrub or small forest, in gardens and parks: it is commonly cultivated also in northern America. As time passes, the smooth gray bark becomes red, cracks and chaps. It has white flowers in spring and sweet little red-violet fruits in autumn. Its leaves get an orange and red color in autumn.
