Chinese hackberry
This deciduous small tree with delicate branches is widespread in Italy in well-exposed places; its glittering leaves are lance-shaped. Its bark is gray and quite smooth. Its flowers blossom in May and originate spherical edible fruits, which in summer become reddish and then black.

Everyday in summer, keep the soil wet during the rest of the year.
Once a week for the first month after the buds open, then every two weeks during summer.
Every year at the beginning of spring, using base mould.
Pinch the new buds while they are growing during the whole summer.
By seeds, by cuttings, by layers.
Suitable for Formal and Informal Upright, Slanting, Prostrate, Cascade, Bloom, Root over Rock and in Rock, Double Trunk, Common Stump, Multiple Trunk, Group, Saikei styles. Any size.
