Dwarf Sago Plant

Dwarf sago plant

Native to Japan, dwarf Sago is a rustic plant similar to palms, with curved feather-shaped leaves that form a thick final corolla of a bright dark green colour. This very elegant shrub is part of Cicadacee family together with C. circinalis, less cultivated, which comes from eastern India. Some people use the pith of this plant as food.
