English Oak

English oak

English Oak occupies a wide area in all Europe, in south-western Asia and in northern Africa. It is really a long-living tree and sometimes exceeds 800 years of age. As time passes, it develops a massive trunk with big branches and huge foliage. The structural majesty of English Oak is evident in bonsai specimens too. Another important aesthetic quality is the gradual change of its leave colour: the spring nice light green becomes darker and darker during the vegetative season and verges on warm brown in autumn.
