Eastern quince

Eastern quince

It comes from China and Korea and, unlike its blossom cousin, has a scaled bark and very smart leaves, which become red, orange and purple, in autumn. However the main difference is the fruit time that starts at the end of spring by the production of sweet-smelling golden fruits.
