Persimmon

Persimmon

Originated in Japan and brought to Europe during the first half of 20th century, it is a deciduous tree belonging to Ebanacee family. It can reach 8-10 m and live until it is 70 years old. Its oblong leaves are green and bright; its flowers show a white-yellow corolla with five petals. Its edible fruits are red-orange big berries.
