Alan is from Tallinstown, near Ardee in the Wee County of Louth. Alan is the team captain at present. You could say he is the backbone of the team! Alan used to be a tree climber but a wee fall put paid to that. He has been with the Warriors since the beginning. Not only did we get the Nugget but we also inherited his whole family and the support the Warriors have received from Mammy (Catherina) and Daddy (Gerry) is second to none. Mammy makes a mean sambo and tart (the apple pie variety). The brother, Eric, has provided his body on occasion when we were a body short at training sessions. Tis a right family affair at times at a Warriors training session. Alan loves the motors, more than he loves the ladies at times. He has won prizes for his sound system at the 100% Modified shows that are held annually at the RDS in Dublin. Alan is a keen Arsenal supporter and is hoping the Gunners can become Champions of Europe in Paris next month.
