Eimear lives in Dundrum in Dublin. She was involved with the Warriors from the beginning but has taken a break to concentrate on other sports. She left us to try her hand at Field Events and she now holds several Irish records at the throwing disciplines. Eimear is a very talented athlete and has also excelled at Table Tennis, where she has climbed to ninth place in the Women's Class 2 World Ranking. She has competed at the European Championships and won a bronze medal in the team event in 2003. Eimear is a fluent Irish speaker. The summer holidays that she spent during her teenage years in An Cheathrú Rua in the Connemara Gaeltacht didn't go to waste.
