Rochfortbridge
is located on the N6 less than one hour from the city centre. The new M6,
currently under construction, will ensure faster and more convenient travel to
the capital.
Rochfortbridge,
a small town in County Westmeath, has experienced a population boom in the last
couple of years since the Celtic Tiger has given our economy a boost.
As of
November 2003, three new housing estates have been completed. These are Rahanine
Manor, Stonebridge Park and Castlelost Vale.
In early 2004, a new shopping
complex opened. Rochfortbridge has a population of approximately 1,700 and is
growing constantly with new and exciting facilities and resources being
developed every year!
