This site provides online species counterpoint tuition based on Fux's Gradus Ad Parnassum.
Several Java applets provide the user with a way to do Fux's exercises and get immediate corrections.
The ancilliary music theory pages on scales, intervals, and chords include applets which allow the user to test
their understanding of these topics.

There is a section for online piano lessons. The initial part is for beginners; in addition to text and pictures
it includes nursery songs (which can be learned without reading music notation) and short videos to demonstrate correct hand position.
