SPRINGTIME
S  is for spring when we like to sing,
P is for prepare we plant flowers in a ring.
R is for red robins making a little cosy bed,
I is for indigo it is a colour but its not red.
N is for  nest the birds need a rest,
G is for grass birds bring in their nest.
T is for tractor it gets things done faster.
I is for ivy it is a great climber.
M is for March and Daddies go to the marts,
E is for Easter we make lots of apple tarts.
       

S is for the season of  Spring,
P is for  ploughing the fields again.
R is for robin singing a lovely song,
I is for indigo nice and strong.
N is for nest the birds build at their best,
G is for grass growing and everything else.
T is for tulips, trees, and the rest,
I is for ivy covering the nest.
M is for machines that are going very fast,
E is for Easter that has come at last.
