Our school went on a field trip to
Curragh Lake on Wednesday 12th of
November 2001.We were very
priveleged to have the assistance of environmental expert
Gordan Darcy for the day. First Gordan spoke to the children in all three classrooms and they did some drawings of various flora and fauna. Then he took 2nd -
6th classes on a walk to
Curragh Lake where we explored the flora and fauna of the region. A video was made and photos were taken to enable the children to embark on a project on the field trip.
