Ingredients
1lb (450g) apples
1 desertspoon lemon juice
1½oz (40g) flake oatmeal
¾oz (20g) flour
4oz (100g)light brown sugar
1¼oz (35g) butter

Method
Melt the butter and add in the oats, flour & sugar. Grease a 2 pint (1.1 litre) pie dish. Layer the apples sprinkled with the lemon juice. Cover evenly with the crumb mixture. Bake at 375°f, 190°c, gas4 for 35 - 40 mins
Chef's Tips
Why not add in a pinch of cinnamon for some zing in the flavour
