Ingredients

UNSALTED soda crackers
Sliced Almonds
Chocolate Chips (½ -1 cup...maybe more...you will see why!)
Butter (Margarine) 1 cup
Brown Sugar 1 cup

Method

Grease the bottom and sides of a cookie sheet with butter (this butter is in addition to that above). Important since you will be pouring things into it. Lay one layer of soda crackers on the bottom so that the pan is entirely covered. In a sauce pan, melt butter and then add the brown sugar. Boil for 1-2 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Pour enough chocolate chips onto the hot, baked mixture so that when they melt, they will cover the entire pan. This is where the amount of chocolate chips may vary according to the thickness of the chocolate layer desired and the size of pan that you are using. Sprinkle with almonds Chill entire pan for 4-5 hours. Over night is best. Needs to be cold! Break into pieces and serve! Number Of Servings will depend on size of the pan used.
