Some photos below from coastal walks in Easkey
(upper photos ) and nearby Aughris
Head (lower photos)
The cliffs in Easkey are 2 miles east
of the village and can be viewed easily but full exploration involves more
difficult terrain with some minor rock scrambling/climbing and awareness of
tide times and awareness of the local quarry which is in this area also. The
cliff walk at Aughris Head is well maintained and is
good for an easy but rewarding walk with the chance to call in to the very cosy
traditional Maggy’s Beach Bar at the end of the walk
for food or beverage.
