Situated just 3Km from Cork City is the Ted McCarthy Municipal golf course. The course was designed by noted architect Eddie Hackett. The undulating fairways and many water hazards offer a stern but none the less enjoyable test to all golfers. One of the feature holes is the par5 ninth which requres a tee straight tee shot over water. The course is noted for its fine blend of long and short holes coupled with tight fairways which demand accuracy from the tee.
